Bucek Chiropractic offers chiropractic care, care for athletes, massage therapy, therapeutic taping, rapid release therapy and custom orthotics. Dr. Bucek’s extensive experience with pro baseball, soccer, volleyball, and Olympic Sports athletes provide him with unique skills and knowledge that he is able to use in his private practice. Although he treats many athletes at all levels, he also cares for many patients in his practice who are not athletes. He has a real passion for working with patients that truly want to get better and are willing to do the work required to achieve their goals.
Dr. Bucek grew up in the south suburbs and attended Lincoln- Way High School, where following a track injury, he was introduced to chiropractic care. After completing his undergrad work at Illinois Wesleyan University, Dr. Bucek earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from the accredited National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois.
For more than 10 years Dr. Daniel Bucek has been helping people improve their mobility and relieve pain. He’s one of only four doctors in the state of Illinois who hold their Diplomate in Sports Medicine. Diplomate American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (DACBSP) is the highest level of achievement. Dr. Bucek has completed over 300 postgraduate classroom hours, plus over 100 hours of on-field experience. He is also internationally recognized by the Federation Internationale de Chiropractique du Sport (FICS) as an Internationally Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (ICCSP), allowing him to continue his eligibility to provide care at international events, such as the World Games or Olympics.
Treating the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago unlocked Dr. Bucek’s passion for treating dancers and helped him discover that he was able to help athletes in similar sports by not only helping them with their injuries, but also by helping each athlete achieve their highest level of performance. From then on, Dr. Bucek’s focus has been on providing care to non-contact/ non-collision athletes, such as runners, triathletes, baseball and softball players, soccer players, and the like.
Dr. Bucek helps provide care for Olympic athletes and hopefuls at the Olympic Training Centers in Colorado Springs,CO. He also treated professionals such as the Chicago Fire, AVP Pro Beach Volleyball, Chicago Bandits softball, Chicago Express hockey, the Circus du Soleil, and USA Wrestling. When not collaborating with some of the best minds in Sports Medicine on the national level, he works on bringing national-level care here to the the Fox Valley.
Dr. Bucek is on the physicians list (provider) for US Soccer National Teams, is on the Minor League Medical Staff for the Arizona Diamondbacks (MLB), and works with the 2017 Clark Cup Champion Chicago Steel (USHL), who have their home games at the Fox Valley Ice Arena. He is also one of a handful of preferred providers for the Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA) and is an active member with the Professional Baseball Chiropractic Society. He is also a preferred provider with Live Nation, working with headliners like Aerosmith, Daughtry, the Eagles, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Dave Matthews Band, and LifeHouse.
