I was first drawn to Magnolia Bath and Soap Company because of their awesome Instagram page! I have been following them online since they opened their doors in the spring of 2021 and have been looking forward to meeting the owner and touring the space ever since. Mandy Buerster had a dream to open a storefront in the Fox Valley and after learning more about the Magnolia Soap brand, what they stand for and how they create their product line she was ready to go! All of the products are plant based, domestically sourced and naturally grown. You can feel great not only because the products are chemical free – but because the products literally make your skin feel smooth and nourished. Not only that, but Mandy spent a good portion of her life in Mississippi, where Magnolia Soap is headquartered. She considered it a good sign to open her own location, and we are so glad she did!
Magnolia Soap and Bath Co carries soaps, bath bombs, shower steamers, body butters, body scrubs, shower oils, as well as home essentials like laundry detergent, candles and home fragrances. They also have a separate line just for men, one for kids and another just for your pets!
On any day of the week Mandy and her team are handcrafting ALL of the products in their store. That’s right! Every single product in her store is made right here in Illinois, right here in the Fox Valley, literally right in the “kitchen” of Magnolia Soap and Bath Co in downtown St. Charles. I highly recommend when you come in to pop your head into the back area of the store to see what they are making!
Mandy also just released a brand new line of facial products including a Drying Spot Cream, a Perfect10 Oil Cleanser, a Vitamin C CC Serum, an Illuminating Universal Primer, an Exfoliating Face Scrub and a Detoxifying Charcoal Scrub. I’m excited to try them all!
Also, Mandy and her team host private events where you can make your own bath bombs with your crew! Bachelorette parties, Girl Scout gatherings, family get-togethers (I’ll be having a girls gathering with all the girls in my family young and old later this year!), birthday parties and team bonding events.
